About us

Accessibility, tested by the people it's for.

Access Drum is a Sofia-based accessibility company with a simple premise: the best people to find barriers in your product are the people who face them every day.

Our story

From lived experience to a QA discipline.

Access Drum started when our founders — QA engineers who rely on assistive technology themselves — kept meeting the same problem: accessibility reports written by people who had never used a screen reader for more than a demo.

So we built the team we wished existed. Today our testers work with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dragon, switch devices and 200%+ zoom — not because a checklist says so, but because it's how they use the web every day.

“We don't simulate disability. We employ expertise that comes from living with it.”

What we stand for

Three principles behind every engagement.

01 · Lived expertise

Real users, real assistive tech

Every audit is performed by QA professionals with disabilities. First-hand experience surfaces the real-world barriers automated scanners and simulation tools miss.

02 · Usefulness over paperwork

Fixes, not just findings

We deliver sprint-ready priorities and pair with your developers until issues are closed — not a 200-page PDF that sits in a Drive folder.

03 · Business honesty

Accessibility as advantage

We'll tell you what's legally required, what's high-impact, and what can wait. Compliance is the floor; reaching 24% more of the market is the point.
